WHAT IT IS: RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a new way to get
updated sports from us. It allows you to read headlines and a brief synopsis
on your desktop without visiting our website. If you choose, you can click
on a hypertext link to visit our site to read the complete article.
RSS is not delivered as email, so you don't have to wade through all that
spam. Your software alerts you when we update content.
SOFTWARE READERS: Programs that know what to do with RSS files are
called "news aggregators." Many are free. They let you read headlines from
dozens or hundreds of news sites at one time. To subscribe to an RSS file,
simply right-click on the orange RSS graphic, then copy the URL and paste it
into your aggregator.
